Throughout his career, Joe has performed at: Parco della Musica (Rome), Jamboree Jazz Club (Barcelona), Sunside Jazz Club (Paris), Bravo Jazz Club (Brussels), Princesse Grace Theater (Montecarlo), Villa des Arts of Rabat and Casablanca (Morocco), Rock-wood Music Hall (New York), Bonafide Jazz club (New York) and Saint Peter’s Jazz Vespers (New York).

As an independent recording artist and band leader Joe has released five albums, featuring original compositions and arrangements of both Jazz standards and Pop evergreens.

“I consider myself the incarnation of what Jazz is meant to be: not simply an art form but a lifestyle, promoting a social awareness rooted in a global perspective and a multicultural experience. I see myself as a true Jazz ambassador: a bridge between cultures. Since 2009 my professional career has flourished internationally spanning countries across three continents. I led my trio on the North African continent (2009 to 2019), on the Parisian scene (2012 to 2015) and finally brought it to the New York scene (2016 to 2019), where I had the privilege to perform with Ari Hoenig and Jonathan Blake.

Most of my musical training, professional and artistic experiences took place within a culturally diverse foreign context. Such an international sensitivity and curriculum, expressed in my academic and artistic research, informs the music I have been performing, composing and teaching, for the past twenty years, singing in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. In such instances, I have carved myself a unique niche in which my “product” has virtually no competitor on the International scene.”

Joe was also awarded three international scholarships at prestigious institutions such as:

  •  The Academy Of Music and Drama of Gothenburg (Sweden);
  •  The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music of New York (USA);
  •  The Berklee College of Music of Boston (USA).
