THE LEGACY is a journey around the Afro Mediterranean experience and its controversial history of cultural riches, blending and frictions.
This AfroMed International Jazz Collective Production consists of 4 pieces for Jazz Ensemble and Virtual Symphonic Orchestra capturing some of the riches of the Afro Mediterranean Folkloric musical heritage as well as embracing elements of Classical and Jazz music. It is the fruit of a compositional and arranging close partnership between Moroccan guitarist, composer Amine Medbouh and Afro-Italian Jazz pianist, composer and producer, Joe G. De Gregorio, who orchestrated and edited all instrumental parts and recorded all piano parts and synthesisers solos.
